Overview
The Community Giving Coordinator plays a key role in fostering relationships with donors, businesses, and community organizations to support ChatterGirls’ mission of empowering girls ages 8–14 through transformative mindfulness and confidence-building programs. This position helps strengthen our impact by leading donation drives, coordinating community sponsorships, and maintaining donor appreciation efforts.
Key Responsibilities

🌱 Build and Maintain Donor Relationships

Connect with individuals, small businesses, and community partners to secure in-kind and monetary donations.

Cultivate ongoing relationships with past donors and sponsors.

📦 Coordinate Donation Drives & Campaigns

Plan and execute donation drives (e.g., school supplies, self-care items, event sponsorships).

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote campaigns online and locally.

💌 Manage Donor Recognition & Appreciation

Ensure timely thank-you notes, social media shout-outs, and other forms of donor recognition.

Work with the team to develop creative donor engagement strategies.

📊 Track Community Giving Initiatives

Maintain a record of donations, contacts, and engagement efforts using our tracking tools (training provided).

Provide monthly updates or reports on giving initiatives and impact.

Skills & Qualifications

Passion for empowering girls and supporting youth development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable reaching out to local businesses and community members

Organized and detail-oriented

Experience in fundraising, outreach, or community organizing (preferred but not required)
